How did your passion for travel get started?
I have always been very interested and enthusiastic about seeing the planet. Once I was 14, I really did my very first visit having a friend to the USA. If I was 15, I decided that I wanted to perform a market year in New Zealand and my enthusiasm for travel became an important part of my personality and life after living there for a year.
How are you currently travel in any given calendar year? Which are the sorts of places you like to go to?
Once I get the opportunity to I always travel. Various areas and countries reside in , so to have the ability to view them, I already need to travel. Back in 2017 and 2018, I moved traveling the world as a travel blogger exploring more of New Zealand Australia and South East Asia. Now about every weekend, I really do micro-adventures with a full-time job and have only traveled to Brazil in February for 3 weeks. To me, traveling means being curious in the world and that I also get just as eager to explore my backyard as I do with other areas and countries.
You Are currently Residing in Frankfort, Germany.
What makes Germany generally, or even Frankfort, such a fantastic travel destination? What should people do when they visit?
Frankfurt is among the cities that many people simply go to as a transit, but it has so many diverse sides to it, it is multicultural and contains lots of history. Thus, when visiting Frankfurt, there is 3 things I’d recommend: 1) Do not choose accommodation near the main rail station. Despite the fact that this portion of town is getting better, it’s still a little dodgy rather than a wonderful location. Since there’s great public transportation you are able to reach the train station easily from any place in town. 2) Do not do the error and only stay in the city centre, there is much more to view such as the old Opera House, having a stroll along the Main, going up the Dome for a fantastic view or even doing a day excursion to the amazing Taunus area. 3) And also not to forget: you want to try Frankfurt’s famous green sauce! Germany is an amazing travel destination, with great public transportation, good food, beautiful nature, a lot of culture, fantastic bread + beer and contains more to offer compared to Berlin.
You spent a while living. What exactly did you learn or benefit from living there? What if people know about New Zealand that they might not anticipate?
I lived in New Zealand for a year once I was 16 and I returned last year to stay a little longer again. New Zealand is known for its scenery and its own great hospitality. Kiwis are extremely friendly and open minded, however you might also tell that they are far away from”the rest of the planet”. In Europe, we are utilised to have accessibility to public transportation, any food we enjoy all year around or having the ability to travel quickly to another nation and culture. There’s many people that experienced another culture from overseas or have never visited a nation. It makes you understand we are in Europe to reside so close to travel destinations that are brand new.
