That is a non for profit which rescues, rehabilitates and releases sea turtles back into the wild. Afterward we’re likely to have lunch at one in Key Largo, the Fish House.

The hospital is open 365 days a year. They have turtles which have recovered, sick turtles along with a few which are non releasable.

Like a hospital every turtle has their tank just at the turtle hospital. If you’re in the state of Florida and place an injured sea turtle please phone the turtle hospital at +1-305-401-7669.

If you’re in Key Largo or simply passing through, I advise that you come to The Fish House for some delicious seafood and Key Lime Pie!

I tried Fried Conch, their Tuna Nachos, Smoke Fish Dip, Snapper, a Dolphin Sandwich and the famous Key Lime pie.

The Key Lime pie is to die for!

Their retail marketplace is open regular and open from 10 am to 10 pm. They have shrimp, yellow tail fillets, king crab, snow crab, scollops, you name it they have it!

It’s been an amazing day at the Sea Turtle Hospital dining on some extraordinary seafood, at the Florida Keys getting to understand the turtles. I hope you make time to go to both the next time you’re down here!
